Meet the Keystone Veterinary Care Team

At KVC, we're more than a team—we're a family dedicated to caring for yours.

Dr. Janelle Hoffman, DVM

Owner & Lead Veterinarian

Dr. Janelle Hoffman is dedicated to bringing quality veterinary care to the Slippery Rock area. After graduating from Penn State University with degrees in Animal Sciences and Agribusiness Management, she went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Hoffman's approach to veterinary medicine is rooted in compassion, integrity, and respect. She believes that every pet deserves to be treated with the same care and attention she would give her own animals, and she's built Keystone Veterinary Care on that foundation.

Special Interests

Dr. Hoffman has special interests in preventative care, dentistry, and diagnostic imaging. She loves the detective work that comes with diagnostics—figuring out what's going on beneath the surface so she can provide the most effective care possible. She's also passionate about preventative medicine, because she believes that helping pets stay healthy is just as important as treating them when they're sick.

Beyond the Clinic

When she's not caring for her patients, Dr. Hoffman enjoys spending time with her family and camping. She's an active 4-H leader and volunteers with other youth activities, helping to inspire the next generation's love for animals.

Dr. Hoffman is excited to open the doors of Keystone Veterinary Care
and start building lasting relationships with the pets and families of our community.
